Spring 2017 Docent Training
Application deadline: January 15, 2017
Training start date: February 22, 2017

Interested in Holocaust education and history? Want to get involved at the Museum on a deeper level?

We need Docents!
***If you enjoy history then join our Docent/Gallery Educator Program.
***If you believe that human beings are doomed to repeat the past if we don't understand our history...
***If you think about the horrors of the Holocaust and ask yourself, "How it could happen? Or, could this happen again?
You should be a docent.

Our program is designed to introduce volunteers to Holocaust history as it is presented in the Museum’s permanent exhibit, along with history and museum educational methodology. Our goal: to develop a team of docents and gallery educators for our core exhibit with special training for our rotating Exhibit Gallery throughout the year. The course offers a solid foundation in policies, procedures, and touring techniques. Various lecturers will address topics on the Museum and educational methodology.
