Dallas Holocaust Museum Seeks new Director of Development

The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance has an opening for a Director of Development. The position is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance development operation, including:

  • Capital campaign
  • Membership and annual campaign
  • Major gifts
  • Corporate relations
  • Foundation relations
  • Donor relations
  • Events
  • Development services

The Director must serve as an effective leader who can take charge of all department programs, major gift prospects and the Foundation Relations program. This position requires a high level of communication with sophisticated audiences and high levels of responsibility, integrity, confidentiality and sensitivity. The Director will report directly to the President and CEO.

The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance teaches about the past, to learn for today, in order to impact the future. The museum has been a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) since 1984. In the past year, it has reached more than 27,000 students and hosted an additional 22,000 walk-in visitors.
